Veronica Hanson I am one of the 3 remaining original employees that were with Advantage Cabinets when Scott and Tina first purchased the business. I started with the company in July of 1993. I have been in the cabinet business for 21 years and I especially enjoy coming up with innovative designs for my customers. My 38 year marriage has survived raising 4 active kids and getting them all through college - three are married and I have 3 grandkids. We have built two new homes and completely remodeled five homes (all while residing in them!) Family, home and work keep me very busy. I have yet to develop a deep passion for any special hobby or past-time. I am really an indoor person unless I am near or on water. I love living on Lake Tetonka. When I have any free time I tend to become a couch potato: catching up on my TiVo recordings. I love most sit-coms and contests like American Idol and Dancing With the Stars and sometimes The Bachelor (if he is cute) and all romantic comedy movies! I also follow the Minnesota Twins and Vikings. 
Doug Elsner I joined Advantage Cabinets in December of 2002 with 17 years of experience in drafting, sales and design. I have been married for 21 years and have 2 children. My wife and I are long-time supporters of YoungLife in Owatonna (a Christian youth organization). Together we have served on Adult Committee, various fund-raising events, and enjoyed an awesome “Family Camp” weekend at Castaway in Detroit Lakes. I recall chuckling as I told the kids "Don’t forget to tighten up your swimsuits" before taking the 200 foot zip-line into the lake! I also enjoy working with stained glass, biking, community service projects and any sport involving a ball, especially pitching on the Advantage Cabinets sponsored softball team. Once while canoeing in the Boundary Waters, I got close enough to a moose to count its nose whiskers. What an experience! 
Hilary Underwood I joined Advantage Cabinets in July of 2006 to both assist our salespeople and manage our showroom. I graduated from University of Wisconsin-Stout in 2003 with a degree in Retail Merchandising & Management with an emphasis on Interior Decorating. I have been working with building & remodeling clients since then. I am so inspired by the many different ideas that arrive on each individual project and LOVE to see the end result! I currently reside in rural Owatonna with my husband and two daughters, Charlea & Halle. In my spare time, (which I don’t get enough of) I enjoy gardening, sewing, painting, scrapbooking and most of all hanging out with my children, friends and family. One of my most memorable moments was playing High School basketball at the U of M, Williams Arena – aka “The Barn.” We didn’t win the championship, but third place wasn’t too bad! Seeing the gophers’ locker room & having my name up on the big screen was a pretty cool moment! 
Caroline Anderson I began working for Advantage Cabinets in April of 1999. My primary responsibility is our day-to-day bookkeeping. However, I also provide support to all of our office staff. I am married to Richard and I have one daughter, Tammy who lives near Hope, MN. I have two beautiful grandchildren, Logan and Mackayla, who bring much joy to my life. I love reading, gardening and being outdoors in the sun. My perfect day consists of sitting in the sun with a glass of ice tea, reading a book or listening to my favorite team, the Minnesota Twins, on the radio. I was lucky enough to meet the Twins team members, including Tori Hunter when he played for the Twins. |
